My dear people of God, this year, we give thanks to God for his merciful love. By his grace, we are able to once again reflect on a major aspect of our faith as Catholic Christians, - namely, The Holy Spirit.

Given that many have only theoretical knowledge without personal relationship with the Holy Spirit, the aim of this pastoral letter is to offer reflections that will foster deeper understanding and intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit.

6TH SUNDAY OF EASTER (A)

When we love Jesus and truly open ourselves to him by obeying his precepts, he will bless us with God's best gift, the Holy Spirit, says Archbishop Valerian Okeke. He notes that the presence of the Spirit empowers us to witness to Christ and to receive God's marvels. According to him, our docility to the Spirit will turn our challenges into blessings and fulfil God's plans in our lives irrespective of the obstacles. The Archbishop invites us to embrace this gift, the Holy Spirit, the reason for our hope, who enables us to live the redeemed lives as God's children. He prays for a renewed manifestation of divine power in our lives and situations this week and always. Amen.
